We launched our Entertainment Safety Tour in 2014 with the OSHA 10 general industry course customized for the entertainment and exhibition industries. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards with special emphasis on those areas that are the most hazardous.

WHAT is it?

The two-day OSHA 10 training covers general industry safety and health principles and OSHA policies, procedures, and standards. Modules are customized for the entertainment and exhibition industries and include: Introduction to OSHA; Personal Protective Equipment; Materials Handling, Storage, Use, and Disposal; Elevated Work Platforms; Walking and Working Surfaces; Hazard Communication; Electrical; Ergonomics; Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, and Fire Protection; Fall Protection; Hand and Portable Powered Tool Safety.

Class instruction runs from 8am – 4pm each day and participants must attend both days to receive an OSHA completion card. Classes are limited to a maximum of 40 students per OSHA regulations.

How much Does It cost?

The two-day workshop is free of charge for participants. The IATSE TTF cannot, however, cover the costs for travel, lodging, meals, or per diems associated with travel or participation in this workshop.

Who can Attend?

If you're working under an IATSE agreement, then you're eligible. Send us your application and we will notify you once we review your application, determine eligibility, and have a space for you in the course.  Please be advised that only individuals who submit an application and receive a confirmation letter will be admitted to the course. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
